Film Dishes

The love affair between film, televised fiction and cuisine has been going on for several years now. More and more films are giving a starring role to the food, restaurants or cooks as central to the main plot line, as opposed to a superficial garnish for a specific scene. The fruit of this conspiratorial relationship is Film Dishes, a section in which Alcalá Gastronómica and the restaurants it is composed of make the most of the ties between film and cuisine for the most demanding and curious palates.

At ALCINE we would like to continue looking into the ties between film and food with the third edition of Film Dishes. During the festival, diners will have the opportunity to experiment and enjoy these dishes, which, just like film, will delight the eye and evoke images from our cinematic memory.

It is the perfect excuse to go on a gastronomic tour of the city’s best restaurants, and at the same time, around the cuisine of various continents. Although many of you probably already know it, Alcalá’s festival is a great change to indulge your film food fantasies.

Enjoy your food for film!
